The End.
"U.S. military marks end to nearly nine bloody years in Iraq."
was the news title I saw when I got on the internet today.
It's over.
The soldiers rolled up the flag of American forces in Iraq and put it in a camouflage-colored sleeve in a ceremony today, symbolically ending the war.
This is something all Americans have been hoping for, but nobody seems to be celebrating.
If I hadn't gotten on the Internet today, I probably would have never even heard about it.
All I'm asking of you is to say a prayer for the soldiers.
Let them know that we are thankful for their sacrifices and that we are glad that they are coming home.
You can say it to yourself or put it in a comment.
Just let God know that you are thankful, and he will let them know.

-The soldier stood and faced God, which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you soldier, how shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek? To my church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said "No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Cause those of us who carry guns can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, and at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent, because this world is awfully rough.
But I never took a penny that wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime when the bills just got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help, though at times, I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me, I have wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here.
They never wanted me around except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much, but if you don't I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints had often trod,
As the soldier waited quietly for the judgement of his God.
"Step forward now, you soldier, you've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, you've done your time in Hell."-

Another Weekend Recap and then some...
So I was definitley a bad blogger this weekend..
I didn't post or read other blogs allll weekend.
Please forgive me!
I have a really good excuse...
Remember how I told you that I went with a guy from work to the Christmas party?
We're gonna call him T.
Yes, I'm giving him a name since hopefully you'll be hearing a lot about him.
I forgot to mention that we went out last weekend too.
And we went out again last night.
And we officially consider ourselves talking.
I know, kinda lame.

It's nice talking to someone again.
Of course I've dated people, but I haven't actually 'talked' to someone in a long, long time. Usually when it gets to this point, I leave. I get to scared to even try to get into a relationship with someone.
Not this time though.
This time, I want it work.

shopplasticland.com
Check it outtttt.
Thank You sweet cheeks!!<3
This is completely me... I think I'm making it my about me.
Woot Woot!
Gorgeous!
If I painted my fingernails, I would have to find someone to do this.
Even our beer pong is bigger in Texas.
Am I right, or am I right?
Hahahahaha
This is getting made for when I redo my room.
So easy and pretttty.
Project # 2.
It's an old cabinet door painted and chalk board paint added to make it a place to hang jackets or whatever else that needed hanging.
No words needed.
This was started at Baylor University right after the VS Fashion show.
Look up the video on Youtube or read the scripture.
I am so glad I just got part of it tattooed on me.
You get a big bowl, add some water, throw in some of your dogs favorite toys, freeze it and what do you get?
One pissed off dog.
The bride added these charms with pictures of her dad to her shoes at her wedding.
Her dad had passed away, and this way, he could walk her down the isle.
<3
Laughing so hard even though I've seen this 90734057 times.
Have a great weekend and don't get stuck in any awkward photos like the one above!

Tat, Tat, Tatted up!
I know, it's huge!
And believe me, it hurt.
Then I wanted to do something cool for spring break this past year.
What else would I do besides getting a tattoo?
The diamond tattoo stand for being unbreakable, and I got is as close to my heart as I could.
I had my heart broken once and I refuse to let my heart go through that again, so just knowing that I am unbreakable is something I think about a lot.
Hello Graduation!
I mean everyone gets a tattoo for graduation, right?
No? Well I did.
This was part 1:
Excuse the muffin top...
And then I had to go back and get it colored:
The sugar skull stands for the death of a child and the roses are the birth of an adult.
Hence my graduation high school and stepping out into the real world.
And since 19th birthdays are so lame, I had to get a tattoo to spice it up which is what I did last night.
This is before the coloring and shading:
And then here it is allllll finished up!
"She is clothed in strength and dignity."
I love it so much, even though it looks kinda gross today with all the extra ink coming out.
Yuck.
Hopefully in a few months I'll be able to get the other part of the quote on the front of my other shoulder.
I'm so excited!
Yes, all of my tattoos are pretty big, but hey,
go big or go home, right?
Now I need to ask y'all something...
I definitely want to do a photo shoot featuring all of my tattoos.
Do any of you know anyone in the DFW area that would be interested in doing something like that?
I know these will fade out and not look as good as they do now one day, so I want something to remember all of them by in the future.
Please, please, please let me know if you know anyone:)
Have a lovely Thursday ladies!
